There are certain risks that are inherent to all treework operations. With careful risk assessment and management, however, we are able to provide a system of work that is as safe as can be. Some of the ways in which we reduce risks are:

  • Carrying out extensive site specific risk assessments
  • Utilising a full complement of PPE (personal protective equipment)
  • Regular training in first aid
  • Regular, recorded checks on all of our tools and climbing equipment in line with PUWER (Provision of Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998) and LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) respectively
  • Adherence to directives for treework from the Health and Safety Executive

Our goal is to do the best job we can for you and your trees, and working safely is the only way to achieve that.
